Co-op Briefing Part 1

Every student in my uni have to go through internship in order to graduate so the uni authorities will invite some of the professionals to give us talks.

Today the Co-op briefing part 1 was held at Multi-purpose Halls (MPH) and there are 2 speakers there to teach us on how to write a resume and how to prepare ourself for interview.

I learned how to write a proper and informative resume which help me a lot for my coming internship.



The second speaker was from Slimming Sanctuary. He teach us on how to dress for interview and the way we speak, sit, and behave during interview.





Lastly, every of the students were given a goody bag which consist of vouchers, booklet, and a trial sculptor gel.

FM 988

The FM 988 committees turned up at the ESSO petrol station right in front of my Uni this evening.



There are crowd of people who attract me to go over to see what was happening. The 988 committees were giving out some gifts to the public if they able to answer some of the questions.


I was one of the lucky person that chosen by the committees to answer a question and given me a packet of bread as reward.


Beside the 988 booth, there were also some handmade ECO enzyme were given out to encourage public to use in their daily chores.


They prepared booklet to educate public on how to made their own enzyme and shared some environment issue with us.

Nadiah's Engagement

I feel excited on 01.05.10 cause it was the first time i witness the Malay engagement ceremony, moreover it was also my best friend Nadiah's Big Day!!!



I got to know more on the Malay culture from the ceremony such as the ring was worn by the bridegroom's grandma and not bridegroom himself.


Both of the bride and bridegroom have to prepare gift to be exchange such as clothes and perfumes.



Here, I would like to congratulate her once again and hope she will be bliss forever

Little princess's birthday

522 was the birthday of the little princess of mine name Xuan Xuan. She was born on 22.05.08 and is 2 years old now.

I still remember the first time i met her, she only few months old.


Now she able to call me 'Jie Jie' whenever she saw me around. She smile all the time and rarely show her bad attitude. I really love to play with her and bring her outing.


Here was the birthday gift that i gave to her and i would like to wish her once again" Happy Birthday" !!! Hope she will grow well and healthy.

Hand-made apple jam

Our first task for the first Food Technology lab session was to make apple jams. There are 4 persons included me in my groups, who are Wansin, Doreen, me and new groupmate- Rachael.

The first step was to dewax the green apples. Follow by washing and peeling. Chop the apples into small pieces so that it is easier for cooking.

Then we heated the chopped apple to boiling, simmer until set,stirring frequently. Do not add water. Added in some cinnamon, nutmeg, citric acid and pectin till the brix reach minimum at 68°C. Remove from heat. Seal in hot sterilized glasses.

Taman Connaught Night Market

this is the awesome L.O.N.G night market..

Every Wednesday after class, i sure will go to the 'pasar malam' above with my cousemates if the weather is pretty good or there is no exam on the next day :)

its really long n there is so many things to see n eat..left and right!! i spent almost 3 hours there!! there are no traffic jam but 'people jam' lol....

let me share with u sum yummy food i spotted..of coz i din eat all..but...i wish i cud..haha...

First Time

Well..this is my first blog in my uni life.

Why I start blogging?

I think most of my coursemates are start blogging from today onwards after attended the IT lab cos it was our assignment from Ms Ong. And there are marks allocated for the blogging so everyone is start blogging included me.

I feel kinda weird but I think will get used to it soon and it maybe a good chance for me to improve my English at the same time.

And is almost 1am now and i have to sleep or else sure I'll 'fishing' in the 2moro class.
